Ester Poly is the convergence of two generations, two musicians, and two activists: Béatrice Graf and Martina Bether. Jazz, rock, diverse musical experimentation… their universes merge into a spontaneous and edgy sound. Their bass-drums duo accentuate chants in German, French or English. Their lyrics, steadfast in their nonconformism, feminism and activism, are underlined by febrile melodies marked by a certain defiance. After a first album release in 2017, the duo teamed up with Hummus Records for their second opus, available at the end of August.
