How do you construct, rearrange and tell a story while consciously aiming to be minimalistic? In this case, the number of sounds that may be used can be counted on one hand. The three members of OTTO use a Tapan (a traditional Bulgarian percussion instrument), a few gongs and bronze plaques to try and become space and time weavers. Their performance synchronously intertwines striking rhythms that make you soar and feel appeased all at once. Between their fixed and improvised construction, everything hovers around one main priority: rhythm.
