Distinguished member of Dutch quintet The Mauskovic Dance Band, Donald “Donny” Madjid took advantage of the forced time off due to the pandemic. He locked himself up at home with a drum machine straight out of the 60s and a few synthesizers. As he experimented, he slowly transformed his home into a studio and created a 9-track album in his Dutch mother tongue. Released by Bongo Joe, the record is a minimalist marvel akin to easy listening that compiles both sentimental ballads and catchy pop tunes one can dance to.
