Junior Brother delved into his roots as a child of Ireland’s southwest to find stories he could tell, the way artists from his island know how to do so well. An abundant region that is both familiar and comforting, where he comes from is a place that just keeps on giving. However, he finds inspiration in modern music as much as in the tunes of rural Ireland. With a guitar on one arm and a tambourine on one foot, he was quickly spotted as a rising star of his country’s music world, as evidenced by his live performances. Because of his dazzling stage presence, his concerts rapidly became an event not to be missed. His compositions remind us of Neutral Milk Hotel - a refined, confessional folk that is profoundly sincere and stripped of artifice.
