This is the story of a stray dog looking for food, shelter, and a warm place in the vestiges of a world ravaged by greed. It stopped barking ever since it was abandoned. The animal became a shadow in the night, carefully avoiding headlights from passing cars.
Perro Perdido (Lost Dog) is portrayed through puppetry and object theatre inside a large shanty/doghouse where the curtain is raised at dog’s height. It is a story told without words; rather, the performers’ feet and legs express the emotionally-laden images.
