After her 2020 creation Le Cirque Astéroïde (The Asteroid Circus), the five-performer piece set in a tractor-trailer on Place du Tunnel, Marie-Caroline Hominal’s current choreographic work brings thirteen dancers together in the Sauvabelin forest. She envisioned geometrical motifs that echo human migration. The rhythm is fragmented by spontaneously occurring events, inciting the dancers to each move as they please. A random system emerges and questions our independence and interdependence.
