The polka chinata is a dance of seduction dating back to the 1900s. Typically performed by men, the dance is physically demanding, almost acrobatic. It requires the dancers to embrace each other and to spin and bend until their knees caress the ground. In 2018, Sciarroni discovered the quasi-extinct dance in Italy through its last  5 performers. The two-pronged project consists of a performance and a workshop that aims to popularize and revive this endangered tradition.
