Société Étrange is a trio made up of Antoine Bellini, Romain Hervault (PanPanPan/Omertà) and Jonathan Grandcollot (Plein Soleil/PanPanPan). The group is reconnecting with the roots of music often labelled as kraut, which is essentially the trippy collision of machines and organic instruments. Don’t be fooled, though: there’s no hint of nostalgia or ridiculous quotes in this timeless trance music. Rather, Société Étrange is writing a sound journey relating to the present moment.
