Egyptian Blue - ANNULÉ

There’s no denying that post-punk music is frenzied. It is definitely never half-hearted, since the whole point is to work the crowd and bring them to the frontiers of a trance-like state. This is something Egyptian Blue totally understands. Andy Buss and Leith Ambrose are the duo of brilliant minds that created the group. They rapidly became a foursome who met on the top floor of a jewelry store, where they made music and drank whisky. What came out of it were jams that lasted up to 14 hours, spurred on by whisky fumes and the deep desire to break away from the banality of everyday life. Both their EPs are like a smack in the face; Egyptian Blue never does anything halfway.
